Melinda Jorgensen, Ph.D.

Dr. Jorgensen earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Idaho State University, where she also completed an American Psychological Association (APA)–accredited predoctoral internship. Following her doctoral training, she pursued licensure in the state of Idaho and subsequently completed more than two years of advanced postdoctoral training and graduate-level coursework in neuropsychology and forensic psychology under the supervision of Craig Beaver, Ph.D., ABPP-CN.

Dr. Jorgensen has held clinical positions in multiple outpatient settings, including the Southeast Idaho Center for Neurobehavioral and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Northwest Neurobehavioral Health, and Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS). Across these roles, she conducted comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations presenting with a broad range of neurological, developmental, and psychological conditions.

In addition to her work in outpatient settings, Dr. Jorgensen maintains a private practice specializing in psychological and neuropsychological evaluation within both civil and criminal forensic contexts. She continues to provide assessment services to diverse clinical populations. Dr. Jorgensen also contributes to professional training and workforce development by offering clinical practicum experiences and providing supervision to predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees.
